Time Tracking

CWLite lets you log time entries directly from the ticket detail view. Time entries sync automatically to ConnectWise Manage.

Adding a Time Entry

  1. Open a ticket in the CWLite app
  2. Tap Add Time
  3. Set the start time and end time
  4. Add an optional note describing the work performed
  5. Tap Save

The time entry will appear in the ticket's time entry list and sync to ConnectWise Manage.

Viewing Time Entries

Time entries for a ticket are shown in the ticket detail view under the Time Entries section. Each entry shows:

  • Start and end time
  • Duration
  • The technician who logged it
  • Any notes attached to the entry

Tips

  • Log time as you go rather than at the end of the day — it's more accurate and less likely to be forgotten
  • Use the notes field to describe what was done — this appears in ConnectWise Manage reports
  • Time entries created in CWLite appear immediately in ConnectWise Manage for billing and reporting
