Getting Started¶
iOS App¶
- Download CWLite from the App Store
- Open the app and tap Sign in with Azure AD (or enter your credentials if your organisation uses local authentication)
- Allow notifications when prompted — this enables real-time alerts for ticket updates
- You're in! Your tickets from ConnectWise Manage will appear automatically
First-time setup¶
When you first sign in, CWLite will:
- Sync your assigned tickets from ConnectWise Manage
- Register your device for push notifications
- Load your organisation's board and status configurations
This typically takes a few seconds.
Web Dashboard¶
- Navigate to your organisation's CWLite URL (e.g.,
https://yourcompany.cwlite.net) - Click Sign in with Azure AD or enter your local credentials
- If using local authentication, you'll be prompted to set up two-factor authentication on first login
Finding Your Organisation's URL¶
Your CWLite instance runs at a subdomain of cwlite.net. Your IT administrator will provide the URL. It follows the format:
https://yourcompany.cwlite.net
If you don't know your URL, contact your IT administrator or dispatcher.
Troubleshooting¶
"Unable to connect" error¶
- Check your internet connection
- Verify the URL is correct
- Contact your IT administrator to confirm the service is running
Azure AD sign-in fails¶
- Ensure your Microsoft 365 account has been granted access to CWLite
- Check that your organisation's Azure AD is configured — see the Azure AD SSO Setup guide
- Try signing out of Microsoft Authenticator and signing back in
Not receiving push notifications¶
- Open Settings > Notifications > CWLite on your iPhone and ensure notifications are enabled
- Check that you're subscribed to the tickets you want notifications for
- See the Push Notifications guide for more details
Tickets not appearing¶
- Pull down on the ticket list to refresh
- Check that your ConnectWise Manage user has the correct board permissions
- Your administrator may need to verify the ConnectWise API integration settings
